Family Focus Guided Tour

It's all about the family on our focus tour, this is where lifetime memories are made.

We launch from the golden sands of Tata Beach and head towards our two islands, Ngawhiti and Motu, home to the largest Shag colony in New Zealand. Our resident seals are lazy and penguins that pop up occasionally will delight you and your children. Navigating your boat through the archway is always a challenge.

Our local guides are experienced, knowledgeable and have your absolute safety in mind. A comprehensive safety briefing is carried out before you begin your tour. We only take family tours if the weather is perfect; safety is paramount.

We have no age restrictions in place. We cater for all ages with the right attitude.

2 Hour Guided Tour

The 2 hour tour is the newest experience in our fleet. It is for those that are short on time and have a desire to explore a smaller portion of our beautiful coastline.

The Tata Islands provide a breathtaking backdrop as you launch your kayak from the golden sands of Tata Beach, straight into the Abel Tasman National Park.

Motu and Ngawhiti Islands (Tata Islands) are home to New Zealand's largest and busiest shag colony, seals lazily watching you paddle by.

The perfect photo opportunity is paddling through the archway which is the gateway to the stunning Wainui Bay, this is where Abel Janszoon Tasman dropped anchor in 1642.

Our friendly and knowledgeable guides will fill you in on local tales and the history of the Abel Tasman National Park and surrounding area as well as spotting the local wildlife.

No previous experience is required. We cater for all ages and paddling abilities in our stable double kayaks. A full pre-trip safety briefing helps make your trip fun and enjoyable.
