Health and Safety with Risk Disclosure

Your safety is paramount. We have a very comprehensive Safety Management Programme in place which is externally audited to ensure our systems and operating procedures are of the highest standard in the Adventure Tourism Industry.

Risk Disclosure:

As we are an Adventure activity we are required by the New Zealand Government to inform our clients of the potential risks of Sea Kayaking.

The risks are drowning or Hypothermia and potential tripping hazards.

We ask that you:
· Take total responsibility for any children under the age of 18 who accompany you.
· Take total responsibility for my personal property (including cameras, phones and clothing).
· Acknowledge that kayaking on the sea can be a dangerous activity which could lead to personal injury or death and that I will follow any instructions given by the tour guide at all times throughout the tour.
· Agree to indemnify Golden Bay Kayaks and its employees from any costs arising from me going on the tour.
· As you make a booking you acknowledge that you are medically fit to go on this tour. We ask that you will inform our guide if there are any underlying medical issues or concerns that could affect the tour.
